Does insurance pay out on an engine failure?
Everyone - and I mean pretty much everyone - that I tell about my pug blowing up says, 'won't your insurance cover it!' As far as I'm concerned your insurance company would laugh in your face but so many people have said this to me that I'm having doubts.
Can someone set my mind at ease

They won't pay for a blown engine, but they would pay if the engine blew due to driving the front into a 'sticky-out' pole thingy, or, if it got stolen - you went out and found it yourself but the ******* had wrecked your engine!

Wasnt this about a year ago at Crail ?
Dont tell me you have blown the new one up as well !
Anyway, sympathy mate, my BRM is sat here knackered, low compression, the rest of which is escaping into the cooling system, basically its fooked.

Yeah I was 99.9% sure insurance doesn't cover this either but soooooo many people said, 'did your insurance pay out' that I doubted myself!
No my current pug hasn't blow up. Its just that I was talking to a mate about the old one in the pub last night when he asked the question.
