Default Can someone help me find some statistics please?

No, not the 0-60mph of an Impreza before anyone asks

Basically im trying to find statistics on average growth rates within countries in the EU for as far back as 1957 (Treaty of Rome). If possible, average economic growth of the eurozone per annum in GDP(p.c) since 1957 and of each individual member state as well if possible.

I have tried all of the usual suspects, ECB website,statistics.gov.uk etc but it is doing my head in now.

Can anyone on SN shed any light as to where i could find these as my head is now beginning to hurt...

Any other sites? Journals etc?

Much appreciated as ever.

Matt.

Try http://europa.eu.int/comm/index_en.htm or
http://europa.eu.int/geninfo/info-en.htm
for all things EU related
They even have a freephone number to increase the propaganda coverage and availability.

OECD. World Bank. Adam Smith Institute. Even the large Banks. The Work Foundation.
The large accountancy firms. LSE and other universities.
Just some ideas.

For simple graphs do a search at BBCnewsonline. They often use them to illustrate stories etc.
