It's pennies stop whinging or learn to walk. An utter bargain compared to when road charging is instituted. You'll be harking back to these glory days.

If you want to do something about it then I suggest you consider anarchism.

Maybe its the principal and not the amount Pete? Its widely known that the government will and have refused to fund ANY progressive transport plan that will reduce their income from road fuel duty; thats hardly the spirit of a green-friendly party is it? If they said "we need more money" people may be less pissed off than when they insult our intelligence by dressing this up as a green measure...

Feel free to make a well thought out and reasoned reply.

Simon

Inflation as trumpeted by this chancellor is currently at 1.6%

So the rise is 87% above inflation.

Taxation = legalised theft. Don't expect anything in return.

The only good think in 8 years of power tho was the stamp duty figure doubling... Cheers Mr Brown - 8 years and thats all I can personally thank you for - hurrah!

I have never yet seen a reasoned argument from PSL, when it gets tricky he runs away for a while hoping we will forget his embarassment.

As a nuclear scientist, he makes a good brayer of footling rubbish.

The state of the roads demands nothing less than a backdated rebate. They won't even pay to fix the roads in Boscastle despite saying they would. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/cornwall/4355365.stm
Can't be trusted with anything....
