I think it's none if you've only been there two week's, but it's courteous to give one week, there probably tell you too **** off anyway!

I want to do that but it wont be good for me if new employers were to get in touch with them, would it?
Don't think I'll be able to work there all week anyway.maybee a day or two, so I might end up walking anyway

Be careful about that mate... I moved on to a new job after being in one for 9 years and my (soon to ex-)boss said to me to give it at least a month as I would hate the first two weeks and he was dead right.

You get into a rut and it's comfortable, then you change jobs and suddenly it's all different, not so easy, no one knows you...

My advice is to give it a chance - at least a month. At the very least you'll make sure you get paid for the work you've done!

as above.... 2 weeks isn't really enough to judge it is it - especially as you don't have another job to go to and you won't be able to claim any benefits.

Understand what you mean mate, but the first week was ok probably because it was a new job and i was glad to get out of the previous one, the second week just confirmed that it wasnt the job for me, I dont want to be doing this kind of work for another day let alone a month. (It's just not my scene)

Its not the people being new/unfamiliar etc.. as I get on great with them and the boss too :O..........It was the money what tempted me to the job in the first place, but the money has turned out to be not so important over job sattisfaction.

<EDIT> If it were the people that were new and the job difficult then i agree after a few weeks it would get easier, but this job is already easy enough and I can do it without any problems/challenges, its just the wrong job.
Sometimes you just know when something isnt right for you.....This time its the actuall job and not the people/atmosphere/money etc.

I'll get a job within a week.already got numbers of atleast 5 to phone up tomorrow.

get one secured and THEN leave the sensible way round..

I've just given my boss of 8 years service my notice.
Just went in the office and told him I'd found something I was interested in trying.
Start after easter.
