...and assume that it meant 710 was to the power of 0, not 710 degrees...

if the 710 is to the power of nothing, then that would leave you with nothing, so then you cannot divide nothing by 8, so that would be zero, but what's the next number? is it 0.710 or 710?

anything to the power of 0 is 1.

Oh, and the next one's 14142 (I guess they ignore the stuff after the decimal point).

Can't be bothered to do the probability one though; too much brain-ache

how? if a number is multiplied by itself no times, it would be 0, same as anything multiplied by 0 is 0.

A bullet with a weight of 9 grams is shot horizontally with a muzzle velocity of 780 m/s.
When leaving the barrell the bullet is 1,75 m above the perfectly horizontal ground.
At the exact same time an identical bullet dropped from the same height.
The bullet that was shot hits the ground after exactly 2451 ms.
How many ms does it take for the bullet that was dropped to hit the ground?

Well, ms is a measure of speed and not time so that makes little sense to me, but

s = ut+ 1/2 at²

1.75 = 0 + 1/2 X 10 X t²

time = 5.91 seconds

(and yes i do A level mechanics)

is ms = milliseconds = 1000th/second or 0.001 seconds

LOL, I was just trying to be helpful I instantly started thinking of the old motion equations until I re-read the question Didn't think it was too bad that I could remember them straight away when I haven't used them for about 15 years

Well think about which direction of the bullet the question is concerned with and you can eliminate a lot of the info
