Photoblocker scam?
I've just had a flyer through the port from a company flogging PhtoBlocker - which claims to prevent flash based cameras getting an image of your plate.
My initial thoughts were - Yay! However. . . . It would seem that the product was not up to scratch & their marketing would seem to be a little underhand.
After a lot of googling, it turns out they are offering webmasters commission to write / review the product. If you read some of the reviews, they are almost identical - with very little photographic evidence (none).
I'm sure some of you Photoshop experts will be able to give your opinions of the official site's images.

for samples of the dubious reviews simply google on the product.
The only "true" review I’ve found is here:

If anyone had any idea if this stuff works or not shout!

Considering how many Gatso's are left cf. other types of camera, I don't think it would be worth jack even if it did work, and I'm sceptical about that to say the least.

To be honest, you have to be a bit of a **** to get done by any sort of fixed camera nowadays when 90% are bright orange. I'm sure anyone who has been caught has the first thought of, "Oh ffs, I can't believe I missed that!" The, "B@stard, money-grabbing, scamera *****!" thought comes after that.
It's the mobile cameras that bother me, where some sneaky plod is hiding behind a bush and this stuff is useless against them.
And before my '****' comment makes you think I'm a goody-goody who's never been done for speeding, I've been done 4 times! 3 times followed by cars with vascar (the way it should be) and once by the pouncing policeman in a layby.
14 points so far and counting. (I should point out the most I ever had on my licence at once was 8 and they're all gone now!)

Interesting how sole European distributor conducted a test and it worked, it would have been a bit of a pi$$er if it hadn't. You can't beat un-biased testing, how very scientific
I retract my former statement of sceptisism, I now believe it to be complete and utter bull dung.
