You will need a viewing card from a pay-TV service to view ITV1, Channel 4 and Five. The BBC channels are available as part of your licence fee. Sky News is available without a viewing card. Non-subscription channels are not offered by Sky and their availability is out of Sky's control.

Nice link Dan the Man. I'm just about pissed off with my Nokia Freeview box and that's only a few quid more than a new box, plus a whole bunch more channels.

Old sky boxes are available for 20 pounds or so and you just need a card to be activated for it at your address, ask your mates and I bet someone is upgrading to sky+ so will have an old box.
