Values of dinky/matchbox model cars?
I have just been in the loft and found a box full of dinky toys from when i was a child, 90% of them in mint condition and still in boxes D:
Just wondering what the value of these things are, for instance i have a model Rolls Royce to comemorate the wedding of Prince Andrew to Sarah furguson with a certificate from 1986.
I also have a limited edition fowler steam wagon depicting halls bros. (halls mentholyptus) with certificate.
Loads of stuff, there must be 40 models in all that i forgot about
Any ideas? i have pics of all of them lol

I found some Star Wars stuff and Dr.Who stuff in our attic and I'm wondering if they are worth anything too.
Good idea David.... I'm off to look on e-bay now.... 50p knowing my luck!

I have no idea but admire your guts in owning up to having a model car from Prince Andrews Wedding
Looks like some useful info here though

I did some research on my old cars a few years ago, was somewhat dissapointed to find that most of them were worth very little. I think the most valuable was about £20.
I'll have to check again.

we'll according to e-bay I might as well hang on to my junk because its not worth much at all.
Think I'll just keep it for the memories because its not going to make me rich!
Be something to show the little one when he's older!

I've got a load of old models of yesteryear all boxed/mint etc, in an edition of millers collectors guide one of them was in it and it said it's worth about a Oner.
Whether anyone would actually pay that is obviously a different matter entirely

Stuff that sells well is commemorative stuff, James Bond, The avengers, The Prisoner, Dr Who, Chitty Chitty bang bang etc.
I might be able to find a number for a collector, or you might try Exchange and Mart, or mags in WHSmiths. I KNEW WHSmiths was useful for something....just never knew what!
