Default Cashflow / profit and loss spreadsheets

Anyone reccommend a very simple P&L sheet for forecasting company P&L based on actual and predicted income and expenditure?

We currently use custom-designed excel sheets that go into minute detail, but a friend is starting a small business and needs a free and easy solution detailed enough to show investors/bank etc.

Anyone?

Can he not just write one himself ed? If he can't, let me know what you want on it, and I'll set it up and do the formulas.

all the best,
