Broken patio door release - any recommendations?
Hi,
Basically the release handle broke off on the inside, so the door can only be open/closed from outside (useful)!
So, has anyone got recommendations on what company to call in Surrey to get this fixed/replaced?
Cheers, Alex

Alex, there's a company in Merstham, quite well advertised, who I called with a window problem (frame coming away from the wall). The rep came and looked at it and said "I can sell you a new window for 400 quid, but TBH you can probably get someone else to fix it for 50. But we can't fix it." He also gave some advice on what was necessary to fix it, how it should be done. I was impressed with his honesty.
I can't remember the company name, but I think there aren't many in Merstham.
(Eventually we fixed it ourselves for free).
