Yes!! It's our old 'friend' Alastair Campbell.

i doubt they were being anti semitic
but it was very offensive and stupid

Funny how the campaigns from last time are wearing a bit thin so they have to resort to slander.
Education : currently producing the worst educated, most ill-disciplined generation ever

It was a calculated action as UB said and it was meant to appeal to anti semitic groups. It was designed to get some popularity back with Muslim organisations after the war in Iraq.

Leslie, my point (although not clear) was that Petem95's gross generalisation about Muslims was as valid as mine.
Muslims in Britain are mainly amongst the poorer communities, so I'd think any disaffected Labour voters would more likely vote Lib Dem than Conservative.

I seem to remember that the Ugandans who were allowed into UK after the Idi Amin affair by Harold Wilson mostly voted for the Tories as soon as they were eligible to do so!
