I saw a Bill Bailey show on telly last night, the man is a genius !

What an entertainer, I am surprised he doesnt get more recognition than he does, his standup last night just blew the likes of Ricky Gervais into the weeds.

Anyone else see it, it was called 'Troll Like' or something .

I always liked the character of Manny he played in Black Books on Channel 4 a few years ago.

Got the DVD for xmas - was also on c4 just after xmas (typical). Like him on live TV but was a bit disappointed by the DVD.

Saw this last night too.

I picked up the DVD on the strength of his appearances on Buzzcocks. He is absolutely hilarious. And the added bonus is....he only swore once, 2 solid hours of mirth. The Argos bit was a total scream. I cannot walk into one of their stores now without giggling to myself.
I think he's a very intelligent, talented man....oops sorry Troll.

I saw part troll live at the royal court in liverpool a few months ago - it was absolutely fantastic!!! Bought the dvd which is slightly different because 20% of the show was 'ad-lib'...
The guy is second for me only to Ross Noble on the stand up scene at the moment...

- brilliant comedian; saw him on stage about 10 years ago - has really great timing and he's also a good musician.

His song "Billy Bragg" is pure genius. Timing, accent, terrible imagery ... he's got the Barking Bard down to a T.

Saw him live last year in Edinburgh and at the end of the show (was various comedians raising money for the Gilded Baloon) he brought on his punk band and played 2 tracks, one was teenage kicks by the Undertones and it went down a storm

The man is far fuunier than I ever gave him credit for. Saw part Troll when it was on after christmas and was laughing from start to finish, some of the best inteligent standup I have seen. He does not have to rely on a catchphrase or "in" joke to make people laugh, he is just genuinly funny...
