Robosapien
Hi All
Has anyone got/seen a Robosapien? Was thinking of buying the other half one for his birthday. (he'll be 28)
Is it £70 well spent, or shall I not bother?
Thanks in advance for any comments

I bought my dad one for xmas.
Dunno if it was worth it or not (it really depends on what you are expecting), but I know he likes it. Basically, it's remote controlled, walks around, picks things up, throws things, and makes rude noises. What more could you want

I've got one. Expected more really, given the amount of awards it's won. The blurb says you can program it which is true. What is doesn't say is that it won't store that program for more than 2 hours.

Speedprince has one and thoroughly enjoys it. It is worth the money if only to keep him off the PS2 for a few hours. Buy shares in a battery factory or a big recharging station to go with it.
I believe that there is quite a customising scene going on if you're handy with a soldering iron

i dont know? i like my gadgets too but i'd have a nice meal with the wife ahead of a toy that will end up in the cupboard after a week.
a present should be something he couldnt really get himself.....otherwise its not a present...you are just buying him stuff.
(i gave my wife a shark dive in Chester aquarium for her birthday...she wanted some hair curler thing...screw that, she buy that rubbsih herself!)

From what i understand there's a new updated version out this year which makes the first look positively primitive. Heard it's a female version that interracts with the first and orders him about (no joke!)
I'd save my money and pick up version 2.0!!!
