Michael Jackson Trial
Starts tomorrow and is expected to last about 6 months.
I personally think he is innocent, i hope so anyway.
MJ is a legend and i think his fame,fortune and good nature is being exploited and taken advantage of.

it's just impossible to tell.
great fan of his music, but the artist, well...
got to wonder though, if he is found quilty will his songs stop being played on the radio, mtv, etc?

Its our minds that are strange.
Society has led us to believe that sleeping with children is perverted.
But, is it really?? Society says yes, but you know as well as i do that 99% of people, perversion would never come into it.
Your nephew/niece comes round to stay and you pop them off to bed. However the child cannot sleep and is crying and wants to share you and your wifes bed for comfort. What do you do? Sleep in the same bed as your niece/nephew or sleep elsewhere?
Does that make us paedophiles?
Okay the MJ case is a bit more severe but it runs along on the same lines.

Four year old nephew/niece climbs in to bed with uncle/aunt - no problem.
Thirteen year old gets in to bed and "Uncle Michael" tosses them off - that's a bit different. (Should it be proved that anything that has been alleged is true).

One of the best concerts I've ever seen - MJ at Wembley c. 1990. As for the *man* himself - at the very least he's f^&*ed in the head big time! Denying he's had anything done to his nose .... come on ....
As for the *allegations* it wouldn't surprise me if they were true and I'm sure lots of stuff will appear during his trial. Guilty? As soomeone said - no smoke without fire ....

Michael Jackson is a legend and a great artist, no doubt, but having heard some of the statements made by witnesses for the prosecution I'm not so sure of his innocence.
Oh.btw...does anyone else think the timing of the trial seems somewhat convenient in blanketing out the Iraqi election results and subsequent events in the news?

I sort of hope hes innocent - listening to his stuff wouldnt be the same knowing he was a convinced kiddy fiddler.
Think he probably is innocent tho - hes an easy target for big-buck scams if you can cook up a good enough story.

What I never understand is the mothers and fathers who took money to quiet about their allegations.
If my kid was fiddled with, I would want justice and retribution, not money ?

Jamie, it's bribery. Not even bribery. It's poorer families it happens to? They put their kids in that position (regardless of whether he is a peado or not) because they have seen someone else reap the benefits of the easy cash. The bloke is an easy target, albeit mentally unstable! He pays them off because having something like this taken to court and having details publicised would **** anyones life up, even if they are innocent!!

The guy is a loony who just doesn't think the way normal people do, and for that reason I think he's innocent.
Like someone else said, why doesn't he just bugger off to Thailand if that's what he's into? My old headmaster did on his retirement, so I'm sure Jacko can afford it.

Innocent or guilty......who really knows,not me for one.
Personally i find the whole media circus pretty disgusting when what is at issue are accusations of child molesting.
Lets just hope he has a strong judge and a decent,sensible jury.

I hope they can keep all the details of the court proceedings out of the public domain until the case is resolved, then there can be no complaint from anyone about the outcome. We can then all settle down to watching a warts and all documentary about it.

Isn't it a bit strange that this 'man' seems to befriend only boys of a certain age group?? They are soon dispensed with once they are 'too old' and less impressionable or more hairy. Also, if jackson's behaviour did not involve any concept of sexuality or element of sex why doesn't he seem to befriend GIRLS !!!?????
The parents: money talks bullsh1t walks... they are as fu$ked up as him, selfish people who think that the cash will outweigh the emotional and mental damage.. but the story of jordy chandler says it all...
Personally i think that he has behaved in a totally inappropriate way and is not the innocent victim here. Why put yourself in that position?? The person who spoke having about having a niece/nephew in the bed - I agree - totally natural response to a child who requires comforting or even on a saturday morning watching telly in bed but would you have the kids in the neighbourhood over for private 1-2-1 slumber parties and think its acceptable..???
