I tryed the DVLA web sight and It's not there. Has any one payed on line or has it been stopped.

Hilarious! At exactly this time last night I was scouring the web and search engines trying to find this website to tax my car. It saves queueing up with the old biddies in the PO.
Excellent, very useful thanks.
Simon.

Poor old postmasters! Now that we have a franking machine I don't need to visit the local shop neither... technology is winning the battle and before long there will be few post offices to speak of

The on-line site only works if you have a new style MOT certificate, which is larger than the old one, computer printed instead of handwritten, and the details of which are logged on a DVLA database. If you only have the old style MOT certificate, then it won't work. Not sure whether it's working for cars under 3 yrs old - can't see why it shouldn't.
