Cat language - what are they on about ??
I have often wondered this, what do the noises that domestic cats generally make mean? - some examples, exscuse the spelling 
Waahhh - usually when you surprise or wake them, also when they want to come inside the house - We don't have a catflap, so they get launched out of the door in the morning ( apologies to SN cat victims, you know who you are
).
Wah-eh - sometimes heard when they come into the room - its like they are saying hello
ppppprrrruupp - hard one to describe this, I notice this more when they want food - its like a minutes purring in 3 seconds if you get my drift.

I had hoped for some semi-serious responses to this from people that had owned and observed their cats, ok, its not quite gone that way but such is Scoobynet
anyway, I'm convinced they *talk*, and if anyone says otherwise they can take it up with me, Gonzo, and Stella.
