Mother Nature can be awesome !
There I was upstairs on ScoobyNet and came down for a beer when I looked out over the balcony to see this glorious view. Mother Nature's power can be devastating as recent events have shown but her pure beauty can be totally astounding at times.

Like to say I took this - but it was my other half....
Think twas August time - this was taken from our recently constructed decking.
View tonight is pitch black, pissing rain and a force 7/8 SW

That is a wonderful picture, congratulations for that.
During my job I had many opportunities to see Mother Nature at her best and also at her most violent and dangerous. I soon learned that nature is all powerful and it was very silly not to respect that. Those who thought they were cleverer and strayed too close to towering storm clouds, volcanos, tornados and the like soon found out that it was a gross mistake, if they got away with it that is!

Sure, no problem. It's on a dvd at home, so I'll look it out for you when I get home from work tonight
p.s. It's the taken from just outside Kyle of Lochalsh, looking towards the Isle of Skye... Taken the summer before last whilst being midged to death

I took this from Sanibel Island, West coast of Florida a couple of years ago.
Not quite in the league of earlier posts but not bad for me!
