Default Mother Nature can be awesome !

There I was upstairs on ScoobyNet and came down for a beer when I looked out over the balcony to see this glorious view. Mother Nature's power can be devastating as recent events have shown but her pure beauty can be totally astounding at times.

Nice one.

This was taken in May of this year in the UK.
No filters, enhancement or fancy settings. Just turned the flash off!

Cool

Carl - I'd half expect to see the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse riding out of that sky!

That is a wonderful picture, congratulations for that.

During my job I had many opportunities to see Mother Nature at her best and also at her most violent and dangerous. I soon learned that nature is all powerful and it was very silly not to respect that. Those who thought they were cleverer and strayed too close to towering storm clouds, volcanos, tornados and the like soon found out that it was a gross mistake, if they got away with it that is!

I took this from Sanibel Island, West coast of Florida a couple of years ago.

Not quite in the league of earlier posts but not bad for me!
