Default Best DVD player for DivX/Xvid?

I've got a lot of movies in DivX and Xvid format and was wondering what's the best DVD player for viewing them. I'd rather watch them on my TV than on my computer.
Cheers.

a chipped xbox is by far the best xvid/divx/dvd/mpg/e.t.c 'dvd player'. Plus you can play xbox games. www.tomshardware.com did a review of some dvd players and an xbox, the xbox came out top. Might be worth having a look.

I'm constanty amazed by the quality of picture I get off the Xbox for DivX etc.

I encode mine with the AC3 soundtrack and have dig audio to the AV amp - so even get original sound quality. Built in network on the Xbox so grabs the divx straight off my Server / PC.

Try the transgear wireless one from Aria
http://www.aria.co.uk/productsList.a...&Submit=submit

will play all the above, plus link to your PC so that it acts as a library.

Hello

As above I would say the Xbox. Once modded and loaded with Media center, it's brilliant. Apparently it plays games as well.

Vote for Xbox here. Even better when it's wireless to your PC for all your stored Divx/Xvid.

I'm with Boxst , Never palyed a game on my chipped Xbox after a year. cause it's ace as a media centre

the 575 is a top machine although the mighty xbox is pretty good too
using the component cable the 575 looks simply amazing although i have a ridiculous set up that most people would consider extreme
