don't think upmystreet tells you exactly how much a particular house sold for, doesn't it give a more general average house price for the area?

Just seen the price of the house that sold next door.

God knows what ours is worth! There's is smaller, needed re-wiring, new heating, new plumbing, re-decorating, new windows, new kitchen, new bathroom.

They were ripped off big style! ....the house two door up which is the same as ours, but needing the same amount of work went for £40K less!

Well they knew how much we paid for our house 10 months ago, so the figures are correct, and we have the cheapest house in our road, all the other sold for a lot more, so think we got a bargin!!!

It doesn't really seem to be that up to date, two houses that have sold in the past 6 months next to me don't seem to be on it

How did you work that out from visiting the site? It only gives the prices for sales back to 2001....

I wonder if the obsession with house prices will continue now prices are falling sharply!

Ps. Pete 15 acres is not that big... more like a pony paddock.

House above is 1/4 mile away (about 90 acres away ) :

Ahhh damn! I wanted to register with that site.

We brought our House last July and would love to see what everyone else paid for theirs! Being a new estate, they all seem to be on their.

Anyone fancy sharing their Username & Password so I can check it all? )
