Turkey left-overs - recipe ideas please !
After serving up big bird on Xmas day and freezing the left-overs, I'm wondering what to do with them apart from just thawing them out and reheating them. I was thinking empanadas stuffed with turkey and some chillies...what do you folks do with yours ?
I'm presuming it's okay to reheat the turkey once its thawed out as it was only cooked once before ? The "Ancient Relics" thread has brought this train of thought on as you can probably tell !

Re-heating is fine so long as you heat it to at least 63c but preferably about 70c. Use a digi meat thermometer if your not sure.Cost about £8.
Theres loads of things to do with turkey. You could have frozen a load in gravey after xmas to have for a Sunday lunch or how about curry. Or chop some up then use in a simple sauce of onions, garlic and cream to pour over some pasta.
