Who else got stitched up by RAC trackstar??
I had a lovely phone call from by bank on the 30th questioning a payment that was made to trackstar for £989.30!! It turns out that there has been an error on their accounting system and that they have taken the wrong amount out of om peoples acconuts
Luckily my bank managed to retreive the payment, but I have had no real apology from trackstar.
Just wondering if this has happened to anyone else here?

I have just received letter saying that the "GPS Camera Detector" part is to increase in cost by 25% . Now, it is only an extra £20-£30 but I am higly annoyed about the justification for the % increase. I intend to call them to discuss.

Mate, they are a shower of absolute muppets. The only person there who appears capable of sorting anything out is Laura Orange.
She can be reached on 01234 759419 (DDI)
It is about time something was done about them coz they are worse than useless. Quite how they manage to recover any stolen vehicles is beyond me as even getting them to call me back without shouting at Laura is a challenge.

Yes - I did - £329 out the day before payday - so far incurred £70 in bank costs due to me having a bills account with just enough in each month etc... Faxed them my bank statement, their letter and a letter from me complaining...
Sooo now they tell me they will send me a cheque meaning I will be outof pocket by £70 plus interest for over 2 weeks since the incident... Crap...
I have demanded an internal escalation and compensation for the inconvenience (im not one for compensation culture - but im well peeved)...
Idiots
