Default posting wheels ?

need to send a set of wheels and tyres, any idea how much they weigh and who is best to send them with ??

depends on the wheel. My 18" Oz P-WRC1's weighed about 9kg each (without tyres).

I used Postvan to send them. Strapped 3 wheels together, to make one large parcel < 35kg for their Express Parcel Heavy service and then used the Express Parcel service for the last one. Cost me £27+vat all-in and that was getting them uplifted from the Dealer and delivered to my work address.

They have an Extra Heavy service (up to 50kg), but at £45+vat it was a lot more expensive. It was Postvan themselves that suggested splitting the load and booking two seperate collections. At the end of the day, the guy picking them up did both on the same day and all 4 were delivered together.

They were still in the original OZ/Prodrive boxes. I would find boxes for them and use large amounts of bubble wrap.
