DVD-R
Sorry to be thick, but does anyone know on a DVD-R which has its own hard drive therefore you can record without a disc is it still possible to record on to a disc if say you wanted to keep?
Also are there any drawbacks as the one i am looking at is nearly £400 and that is on the internet!
Cheers.

If you have a PC, I'd recommend you go for a PC DVD recorder AND a cheap DVD recorder for your TV/Video to transfer programs/videos to DVD.
Then do all your mastering on your PC.
The mastering capabilities of these hard drive recorders is a joke compared to what you can do with a proper software package.
