DVD-r blank discs - any brands recommended with Pioneer A04 DVD writer?

Folks,
Just bought a Pioneer A04 DVD writer for £199 which came with 50 unbranded DVD-R's thrown in (they sell them for 40p each!! - so dunno if quality is great).
However, one of the discs I burned this morning seems to be a bit iffy - some files read ok on another PC, but some don't. So, suspect I need to get better DVD-R's.
Looking around, most decent branded DVD-R's seems to be around the £4-£8 mark!!!
Anyone know of any cheap websites for this stuff? Which brands are good?
