Renting out house - advise please
Hi
I'm looking to rent my place out pretty soon. I was considering going through an agency, but after speaking to a work mate, I think I might try and do it myself instead ! Agencies seem to get a nice slice of the pie without doing much by the looks of things.
Any advise on what I need to be aware of, documentation needed etc would be most useful.
Is there a pack that has all the necessary details on how to go about this ?
Cheers
Daz

do it yourself.. contact
Oyez professional services Ltd
020 7405 2020
to buy your Oyez SHORT TERM contracts!! pack of 5 about £10
then you have the legal document!!!!
I rent out my Three Properties my self... you are a judge on how ppl will be.
YES.. you will get the odd one that plays you up... and yes allows two months a year without rent.. as they move out you need to sort things out and re advertise.
as long as you cover your costs.. property goes up.. not down

Cheers for the info Phil.
Like you say, doing it yourself you can at least see who'll be going into your house and be a little bit selective.
Covering costs is the main thing for me!
