Doh, no violin smilie here. 
Go for a walk in the fresh air (to the pub maybe), that sometimes helps clear my head if i'm bunged up.
By the way, i sold the P1 yesterday mate.
Ordered new car though

im just getting over it, it gets worst im sorry to say, starts out just looking like flu, then you get gut rot, then the s and d starts, then awful pains in the stomach not dissimilar to appendecitas (sp?) this morning im feeling better a bit, would suggest going to docs. as it lasted 48 hours before i went, and he gave me some tablets, and ive felt better since.

Same here, I've barely been out of bed since wednesday but have been drinking gallons of fresh orange juice and eating loads of chicken soup and today Im starting to feel slightly better. Good start to xmas huh?

Not much help to you mate, been off work for over a week now with the Satan Bug.
GP's advice? get plenty of rest and pop paracetomol.
My advice? Do the above and go out and get hammered anyway (sometimes a really hot curry can help too), it'll probably cost you half as much! You're going to feel ****ty tomorrow anyway so you may as well try and enjoy yourself tonight.

Before you go to bed tonight, drink half a bottle of whiskey or brandy (or as much as you can handle). Crank the heat up to full. Wrap yourself up in a duvet.
You'll sweat like a rapist all night but i gaurentee you'll feel great in the morning after a shower and a pint or two of fresh orange

Well I've taken some day nurse and reckon I'm up to a session this afternoon. Who gives a **** what Xmas day feels like, the in laws are here anyway so whatever i feel like it'll be a **** Xmas
