Thumbs down The Heist

I do recall having seen a couple of theads on this program so forgive me if I'm treading a well worn path but this is the first time I've seen it...and it'll be the last.

What an utter heap of excrement. I cannot believe Channel 4 actually paid a production company money for this ****e.

Was the rest of the series as bad as this one? A load of old has-been criminals trying to outwit some 'unsuspecting' sop - what a brilliant concept!

One of the good guys tonight was alledgedly an ex-FBI negotiator who successfully bargained down a terrorist's demands from a fuelled-up plane to a packet of ****. Having seen him in action, I doubt he could persuade his wife to let him out for a night with the lads.

[Shakes head in disbelief]

Cheers
Kav

last weeks when they stole a TVR was actually quite good. It's the only one I've seen though so can't comment on others.

Was that the one where they "fitted" a tracker to the truck by placing it on the roof (in clear view) and then it wasn't in any of the other shots of the truck and then they "found" TVR's tracker on the car, which, rather remarkably, was identical to the one they used on the truck and was a single unit and not several seperate components hidden throughout the vehicle?

Was that the one where they went through an open window, banged one of the doors loudly and not one security guard came to check what the noise was?

Yeah... why on earth didn't the gang insist that they want to "deal with the owner or Ned gets it"?

The other 2 programmes weren't bad though.

i thought they were great, the one with the painting was the best, they just went through a window and walked in and took it,
i wonder if the gang from ireland got some ideas from the programmes,
imo you can pick faults like the tracker on the roof and in the car but i think its just shows what things are like in real life, the security gaurds probably heard the door when they took the painting but couldn't be bothered to check it out!
