I feel sorry for the guy actually - hes been blind from birth, and hes done bloody well considering, youve got to admire him for that.

If were going to be stuck with labour for another 4years then I'd rather it was a labour party with at least one member whos not afraid to at least try and make the party take a tough line on stuff like crime. Im sorry to see him go.

You didn't actually BELIEVE all that bollox about being tough on crime did you??
The only reason he wanted to introduce ID cards was to make it easier for the authorities to criminalise the law abiding masses Not carrying your card sir? That'll be a £60 fine then sir!

ID Cards rock!!

Lets end crime, solve crime and lock up the true criminals - all this is possible with ID cards and DNA testing for ALL!!

Gets my vote everyday of the week

I'll expect to see you at the front of the queue for chiping then Pete; no need for ID cards then; your friendly local PC can scan you like my DataTagged Yamaha. We can do it to newborn babies too when we DNA test them; after all; decent people like us have nothing to worry about do we?
