There are very few pianists around who are even in his league, for the swing, R&B etc type stuff. Also a very enjoyable live act with his R&B orchestra.
As a presenter . . . best I can say is that I doubt a lot of modern pop stars would do much better. There is often some good live music on his show

He owns a house thats sits inside the grounds of a ruined 12th century castle in the village where i live,seems nice enough bloke when i've seen him out in his C type jaguar c/w biggles style scarf and flying jacket.
