After a mountain bike
I used to do a fair bit of riding over the years, sold my last bike about 5 years or so. Has a nice Giant, full suspension Deore Dx throughout as my last bike but now i am after something cheaper. I have not kept up with the market or new products.
Just want a bike for some recreational and fitness work. will spend around £ 350.00.
Any reccommedations, front susppension a must as my wrists are a bit shot (so to speak).

you will get a lot more for your money now compared to 5 years ago more especially if you are willing to look at previous years models.

I just bought a 2004 ex-hire Giant XTC3 for £360 from The Hub at Glentress. RRP is £600.
As new condition really, and good bike for the money. Front shocks, and hydraulic discs. They probably still have some....
