Anyone on Orange Talk Time Plans
As above really
Im on talktime 200 and my bills are extortionate for the last two months
Spoke to Orange and they tell me they do NOT do off peak anymore on talktime plans, and that the one on their website is discontinued which is a Talk Plan, not a Talktime plan

From the website it loks as though they've changed everything quite a bit. I'm on Talktime 60 or something plus a text bundle that perfectly suits what I use, so my bill is rarely over £25 a month. My other phone is on the Everyday50 they used to do (50 minutes a day off-peak for about £20 a month).

Cheers
Its more the call costs once you go over your 200 minutes free talktime
They are telling me its a flat rate of 35p a minute to any non Orange Network, regardless of the time the call was made

If you make the calls, you pay for them....
get a new phone on orange 2 months before your old one runs out the 120 plan is a good one,
dont use it for 2 months.. you then have 240 free minutes, plus 120 free in the evening
then get rid of you old phone...

Right
phone orange
Go through to disconnections- NOT upgrades, as they are useless.
Tell them you have been offered a tarrif by o2- 'Online 200' which gives you 200 x network anytime mins and 500 txts / 300 x network anytime mins and 50 txts (the choice is yours on that tariff) for just 25 a month. They also give you a nokia 6230 or sony ericsson K700i FREE (so mention this to orange too- i got my nokia for 4.99 as opposed to the 149 that upgrades dept. tried to charge me)
Third one down here: http://shop.o2.co.uk/choosetariffs, or if any of the others take your fancy (sounds like you use a lot of minutes) then go for them instead.
Ignore the rates that o2 specify for x network and internal network calls- orange charge differently.
I use the above on my line one, and my everyday 50 (sadly not available to new customers anymore) on my line 2- and my bill is never more than 40 maybe 50 all in per month.
Much much much cheaper than any of oranges service plans... I will NEVER get rid of my everyday 50 line 2.........

Its not a new tariff I need, its the fact I feel like I have been shafted on the phone calls I have made
My bill for the last two months, is damn frightening

Steve, do what I did, sit down look at your last 3/4 bills and look at your average useage and then look at the other tarrifs they have. I have saved myself a LOT by movinf to one of the 'Premier Tariffs' with 1000 inclusive minutes any network any time.
MAC - I can actually beat that anyway did £900 in 3 days a few years ago!

I am still on Everyday50, I was going to change but they advised me against it.
Still **** when it comes to customer service, upgrades etc. I asked about their offer of free evening minutes that they advertised on TV.
Apparently, because I was a customer of six years and had spent X thousands of pounds with them, I didn't qualify for it. But I could cancel my contract and rejoin Orange and I would be entitled to it. Riiiight.

I thought about going to a different supplier but after talking to a few people it would seem they are all as bad as each other.

My orange 'phone bill has been double the normal cost for the past two months as well. I've been using it a bit more, but not, now I think of it, that much more. Need to dig out my bills and work out what's going on.

There used to be a specific item on the menu but its not there any more... try the 'if you are thinking of leaving orange' option on the recorded message- that gets you through quickest!

just tried that, dial 150 then use the "thinking of leaving" option and you get straight through. Changed my tarrif to 200 minutes plus 50 free texts (i was on the old 200 everytime, no texts plan) for the same price as my old tariff and got a Sony Erickson P910i for £64 instead of the £150 they wanted via upgrades. result.
and a corner too.
