Urine odour after eating asparagus....
I have noticed that after eating asparagus, or asparagus soup, particularly the fresh tetra-packed stuff, one's **** has a very characteristic sweet, pungent yet inoffensive odour.
Anyone know what's in asparagus to cause this?

Sugar puffs? Hmmmmmmm, I had a VERY strange experience with those
Eating a bowlful one bright morning, I'm overtaken by a sneeze just as i put a spoonful in my mouth
Sneezed, mouth closed, trying NOT to spray sugar puffs all over, and had a pain in the back of my throat/nose. I sniffed a couple of times, and the pain went away.
THREE DAYS later I blew my nose, and down came a sugar puff, liberally coated with slime and blood
Haven't eaten them since

Its actually due to a group of chemicals called thiols (aka mercaptans) in the asparagus. The same group of chemicals can be found in skunk odour and rotting meat!

(I don't have a p!ss fetish by the way, just interested in organic chemistry! )
