Talking Mmmmm Black Bomber Cheese

Just had some of this at work, someone brought in a cheese box they got early for christmas, anyway it had Black Bomber Snowdonian Cheddar in there and boy what a lovely tasting cheese.

Has anyone ever seen this cheese in the Supermarkets, it's absolutely fantastic, mature with a hint of sweetness, it reminds me of toffee apples as a kid, yeah I know sounds sick but tastes great!

Cheers

You can buy it in Sainsburys in Cardiff (Thornhill - North Cardiff) and i assume other big supermarkets in Wales.

Lovely stuff, i usually pick one up if i'm passing.

Was it Little Black Bomber?

If so, it might be from the http://www.snowdoniacheese.co.uk/. They had a stand at The Good Food Show last week. I tried the medium mature with ginger and it was superb, so I bought some.

Just down the road from me. Think I'll have a little stroll later.

They'll do mail order via the website FM. I think minimum order is six truckles but not hard to make up with some Black Bomber and the Ginger Spice.

I must try that then. There is another new cheese called Cornish Blue. Bit like Stilton but with its own taste, very nice but a bit pricey.

Yeah I saw the website £8.50 for 200 g, worth it though, it will have to be mail order, or a sprint down to Snowdonia in the scoob, just popping out for some twistys and cheese love, see you in 12 hours LOL.

Ginger Spice
So how many people have eaten Geri LOL

Saw it for sale today in Howells store in Cardiff. So I would think any House of Fraser store may stock it. Also a list of stockists on the website.
