Default Road Angel

Just bought a new road angel. Has anybody got an opinion on them over the originals.

We have both types in our family, i have the classic one which i think is fantastic, but the new ones is even better, better read out, more alerts, easier to mount and unmount etc. Very good!

But what about the "ROOOOOAAAAD AAANNNNGEEEEL" or "BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP" every time you turn it on.

I had one recently but had to sell it as it was giving to many false warnings.. did my **** in!!

just bought a neo s4r just waiting to get it, but ive heard some really good reports, so we will see.

Dont use a road angel myself, but I know mates with them (old style), and TBH I see little point. They only seem to warn against fixed cameras, which ok is handy, but not worth 300quid + 9/month subscription.

Mobile 'safety' camera vans are the problem, but they dont appear to detect these.

They have a laser detector as well. On the earlier versions of the original RA it was sold separately. The later versions included this as part of the bundle. Not 100% but better than nothing. I always found RA very accurate. Gives you a fair degree of warning and comfort when travelling through areas that you are unfamilar with.

had a Neo installed for about a week now....lookin good so far

J4MOU.....should take you 3 hours at the most m8 to do it all tidy

I have the old style road angel and mine picks up mobile and hand held camera's, very pleased with mine.
