Anyone been quad biking ?
As title, if so how did you find it ? Was it in the woods or in the open ? How much did it cost ? Would you go again ?
Any feedback appreciated.
Thanks

Nearly broke BOTH my legs on one!!
One word of advice - do NOT, under ANY circumstances, put your leg out if you think you are about to topple over!
I spent 1 hour in the countryside by Tenby in wales for £20 - brilliant, just me and the instructor ...... when he thought I had it sussed OFF we went! Bloody Hell!
As an old motorcyclist I wanted to twist the throttle and pull the clutch in on the left hand .................. all very confusing!
Great fun though!

I am thinking opening a quad biking track ( where people pay to ride my quads ) and was really trying to get feedback as to what people would want from such a place. I mean would they rather a trek through woodland, streams, hills etc, or would they rather something more competitive ?
Any answers greatly appreciated. !!

my m8 has 2 big ones (and some quad bikes as well) One is a 750cc farm workbike - the other is a 250cc sports quad. Both are awesome. 20 mph over bumpy ground with trees flashing past feels like 150 on the motorway.
as above - once you have a go you will want one

pslewis, PMSL at the leg thing, its amazing how many people who have had a go on mine have done exactly that ( not broken legs just put them out )
I can't quite see why myself but maybe as a semi retired motocrosser I have more confidence off road !

A few years ago, I had a half day out with work where we had a shot of quad bikes (along with Honda Pilots, Crayford Agrocats, laser clay shooting, etc.) This was all in the grounds of a large hotel somewhere in the Midlands.
Essentially everything was just to give a flavour of what was involved rather than being the full day experience that you will be offereing. The quad biking was just a few laps of a field, no overtaking, nothing to see, and I didn't particularly enjoy it despite having great expectations.
However, if there was a conducted trail through the woods, along streams, etc., with a muddy track to have a blast on with the mates after the woodland trail was done, that would be a very different matter!
