IMHO - a bar chart:

Date along the bottom, time on the vertical starting the time at say 17:30 up to whatever you want.

A simple line graph I would imagine with days on the x-axis and time on the Y-axis. So long as you keep the Y-axis scale fairly tight, e.g. from 17:30 to 18:30 the trend will show up nice and clearly.

from a communications point of view.

keep it simple and dont overcomplicate...

death by powerpoint can kill your aspirations..


also print & check what the slide look like in true colour..

remember some people may be colour blind

Have you tried using differnt charts when selecting "chart" on tools menu? In mine (office 04) you can select different chart types & see which one looks best. I am sure this option was added in/around MS 2000, or could even have been as early as 97

Histogram? Have the 'bins' set at intervals so that it shows two clear peaks corresponding to the two time periods.
