If you pay about a 15 quid a year you get 2GB storage and a 20MB attachment limit. Both double what you get with GMail.

Forgot to mention that you now need at least a Hotmail Plus account to be able to access your email with Outlook/Outlook Express.

Now people just need to learn how to use an email account!!
Whenever I get somebody ordering from me and they present a Hotmail address I can guarantee they'll be a delay of a day or two before I hear back.
Why people don't use OE or something and have it set to receive emails within minutes is beyond me.
It makes me laugh when they apologise for not replying because they don't spend much time online, but I know they are online when I send the email because it's often sent several minutes before I receive their Paypal payment.
Anyway, Hotmail what................

According to
this we are both right. It already applies to new users (as of 27 Sept) and everyone else starting in 2005.

Yeah heard it was supposed to be happening, was hoping they were gonna change their minds, but looks unlikely. Webmail is sh!te and have always used OE. Will have to give up on Hotmail once I can no longer use OE with it.

It might be worth paying the 15 quid with at least one of your accounts. If for no other reason than the hassle of all the people you will have to inform about a change in email address. I have totally lost contact with people because I changed mine many years ago.
