Default Steamy windows

Grrr, bloody car keeps steaming up (Rover 200 BRM), I know in weather like this its fairly normal but it seems worse than any car I have had, it doesnt appear to be leaking in anywhere, carpets are all dry, any suggestions ?

Was thinking of applying rain-x on the inside and seeing if that helps.

I have the same prob with the scoob, seal doesnt seem great around the drivers door Ive noticed it makes a difference as to whether or not you have steam already on the window screen when u get in the car first thing in the morning if you have the heater settings set differently, there is usually a thing that slides from 1 side to the other and says whether it opens the air vents to let the air in the car from outside or not. Does that make sense?) Cant remember which setting I have to have it on, change it on yours and see if it makes much difference over the next couple of days

You can buy spray that helps stop this
But as above check you are not using recirculating air in the cabin

As this can cause windows to steam up does on my VR4

Check you leave the heater on "fresh air in" rather than "recirculating". If that isn't it, also check for leaves blocking up the air vents entrances under the windscreen.

Apparently my mate reckons its because I am a fat sweaty lump, cheeky skinny get, I give him a lift every day and he fannies wih the heater the stereo and anything else, farts constantly (that may be the cause actually !) but indeed the switch was set to recirc so hopefully that may be it !

Cheers
