Decisions decisions.........
........persuaded my wife to buy me a games console for my up-coming birthday, only thing is, do I ask for an x-box or a PS2?
What are the pros and cons of both and ultimately, which one is best?
Also, may I have a few recommendations on some decent games for either?

i have both. both have their advantages - namely the GT series on the PS2, and the halo series on x-box.
get both imo. ps2 probably has more decent games for it right now if you're forced to choose. however u can get each console for like £95 brand spanking new.

Xbox is far better! anybody who says otherwise is talking pish!
I think the only reason to have a PS2 now is GTA:SA but then you have Halo 2 on the Xbox so that more than cancels it out.
Do a search in the Computer forum on this and the Xbox comes out top every time.

have both too, atm Im using the PS2 cause Im playing PES4 but that should change soon when I fancy XBOX live with PES4, XBOX is by FAR the superior console, PS2 you have to faff about with memory cards etc, IMO the only thing the PS2 has going for it is the choice in games but the XBOX is catching up

ive had mine for 2 years now, and a ps1 before it..
i wore the ps1 out, and use the ps2 for 2-3 hrs a night
