Had to drive to Central London yesterday for some work, got home near 12PM (midnight), knackered and went straight to bed.

Forgot to pay the Stupid congestion Charge!! ( i'm sure a natural human error)

Called them this morning, "sorry sir, you are now too late, and will be receiving a penalty charge shortly"

What kind of **** is that!

(There was still **** loads of traffic!)

Mr Ken also wants to put the charge up to £10 per day...Fines i belive have already gone up! A** Wi*E

id leave it mate and wait to see if the cameras picked you up... they are NOT 100% effective and miss quite a few cars hence why they don't just charge you for entrance. They make you pay incase you get caught

very rare to be missed tho.... we have a van in most days and on the odd occasion we forgot to it guess wot arrived..... yep now £50 if paid within 14 days......

I realised when the letter came through the post. I now know how you have to pay for it too.

They're not always correct either - I've had a PCN for a vehicle that we'd paid for.

@nchors tried to tell me that I had entered an O not an 0 when I put the charge in, but seeing as how it was in the middle of a month block

youre better off registering your mobile phone and your credit card so a simple text message from your mobile phone would pay the congestion charge for your particular vehicle.
