always awkward when you later see a girl you'd previously been using handcuffs with. you never know quite what to say or where to look.

On a serious note this girl was lucky. She went clubbing and left her baby alone in the house for a couple of days and it died, you may have read about it in the paper not so long ago.
She spent some time on remand but ended up getting some sort of Community Punishment/Re-hab order if i remember

Ah yes, but if she's been DRIVING instead of clubbing, she's have felt the full force of the law.........................

Ive took 2 seperate people to court for dangerous driving. One got 15 months imprisonment and the other got 2 years (think 2 years is the maximum).

Saxo Boy, she wont be out in a year because she didn't even get a custodial sentence!

What happened there then? She was a junkie and the judge felt it was to expected? Probably the same judge that felt that the baby would have been better of with a junkie mother than say a law abiding dad with a half decent job.

BTW I'm only saying that I think the way our law works is a bit carp not that I'm guessing the above is fact - just being sarcastic.
