Apparently Song for Guy was dedicated to a guy called Guy who was a Pizza delivery guy who was in a car crash and was killed.
Or so some guy said.
Edit: Nope, according to a website Guy was a messenger guy. And with that I finish today's pop trivia.

You're a little off...
Actually, 'Song for Guy' was written for my uncle, Guy Burchett, who was a motorcycle messenger, as IMDB says, who worked with Elton John. He was riding pillion on a motorcycle in bad weather when he was 17 years old and was killed in an accident. Elton John wrote 'Song for Guy' as a tribute to my uncle and presented a framed, signed original LP to my grandmother (Guy's mother) after he completed the album. Hope this clears up any confusion and allows Guy to live on in memory.
