retailers are in trouble,interest rates won't go up again,so buy a house

anymore advice will be be charged at the going rate

Yeh but I just heard on Johnny Walker show business news that people are going to spend regardless for Christmas.

well they aint spending it in John Lewis,Comet or M&S,i wont go on,but there will be some shocking figs for the last 1/4

and wait till Phillp Green reads what M&S ladies wear is doing (down 18%),although ni doubt i heard it before him

re phillip green.
M and S still have 7% of the clothing market,BHS have 1-2%.
Have you been in BHs recently for mens clothes,they are AWFUL whereas m+s aint too bad.

M & S who goes there, only old people and those ***S go there, i even feel old when i walk past it on oxford street in london....

US rates look like rising & hopefully ours may even fall.

Old news, general public haven't been spending in most sectors for quite some time. Every independent trader has felt the pinch and is an eternal struggle to stay afloat.

Not at Sports-soccer,that place is always heaving whenever i go in.
Not surprising though when you can buy a leather football for £2.
