It'd be interested to know whether or not any of the cars were insured because I always thought the cars HAD to be left unlocked as part of the policy, for incidents just like this.
Any insurance bods care to comment?

"A small number of cars were saved, as well as computers and accounts information, however it is reported that not all the cars were insured because of the cost."

Some of the cars that were uninsured were so because of the cost of the premium was more than likely too dear. They chose to gamble on those cars and lost.
The cars that were insured however are the cars I am asking about. The premium was paid but WERE they covered because they were locked?

I wouldn't call it a strain, a little tiresome maybe, but hey it takes all sorts to make up a country.
Some of us have to allow for that.
