It'd be interested to know whether or not any of the cars were insured because I always thought the cars HAD to be left unlocked as part of the policy, for incidents just like this.

Any insurance bods care to comment?

I assume you didn't read it properly.

Some of the cars that were uninsured were so because of the cost of the premium was more than likely too dear. They chose to gamble on those cars and lost.

The cars that were insured however are the cars I am asking about. The premium was paid but WERE they covered because they were locked?

You're right, I misunderstood what you were asking. IMO an easy mistake to make with your original wording. Sorry to have been so tedious, it must be a strain dealing with mere mortals all the time.

Obviously in your opinion it was, I can fully understand being in a minority is difficult enough and so I won't add further to your pain.

I wouldn't call it a strain, a little tiresome maybe, but hey it takes all sorts to make up a country.

Some of us have to allow for that.
