She gets better looking surely? Corrrrr..

These pics are way old. A net search would reveal them from about 5 years back I reckon.

I'm sure they where used in so beer goggles flash thing where the more beer you drink the better looking the women appears.....

I could show you pics of women who get married and look worse than that after 9 years but do they tell you to not get married? Nope!!

So that's the latest campaign. Some poxy old photos that have been doing the rounds on the internet for years. Yep I think you are right. About 5 years.
I suppose it could be argued that those who aren't internet savvy will find them new & shocking but it does seem a little poorly considered. Will there be a further series of other pictures? Other racial backgrounds? Is it part of a campaign? What's the strategy?

Seems to me that successive generations have failed to learn what it is about growing up that makes it so exciting. Having old codgers telling you how bad it's going to be when you reach 39 when you believe that if you reach 39 you'll be doing well is never gonna work. The Video of the young girl before she died was the closest we got to a campaign that might work !

However old those pictures are, it is still a graphic warning of the effects of drug addiction.

Why assume that you will not make it to a venerable age? If you take the view that you might as well screw yourself up because you don't think you will still be alive in the years to come, then the chances are that you won't be of course. But when you reach the time when it all catches up with you, life will be every bit as precious to you. That is when you really wish you had taken more care of yourself! The past pleasures you experienced, or thought you did, just were not worth it.

I Agree Les - But when I was 18 I thought that 39 was ancient (I'm using the age of 39 for good reason ). I've never had any inclination to smoke or take drugs other than the occaisonal drink . But clearly people do want to experiment with these things - churning out pictures of an old woman will do nothing to stop youngsters taking drugs - IMHO.

Afraid this will be a waste of money & lives (missed opportunity)

Laudable campaign, but completely overlooks the "won't happen to me" attitude most people have when they are young and start these things.

I thought that about smoking when I was a kid, luckily I survived long enough to realise it could happen to me and did something about it.

Colour the first picture in black and it could be the life cycle of Michael Jackson

It may work for the ones who havent started drugs. For the habitual ones its very difficult anything like this would work.As someone said here that they are the pics which have been seen before on internet etc and to make any campaign effective and worthwhile, i dont think this one has taken a fresh approach. This is my view anyway.
