Good to see the old girl again, I have got that one in my log book. Looking a bit secondhand now though.

He is aiming for a bit of a mark-up, they only cost £3K deliverd to your airfield when they went out of commission.

I am keeping my fingers crossed for 558 at Bruntingthorpe when she has been refurbished, its underway now and shoulf be done by next June I hear. Just hope they will let me fly her.

my old fella used to build them at Avro

they are bad *** **** planes, but if I had the money to spend on a model for my massive back garden/collection, it would have to be one of these:

Paste from site.

Note: This listing is restricted to pre-approved bidders or buyers only.

Email the seller to be placed on the pre-approved bidder/buyer list.

But I am not going to put it to the test

Didnt notice that, durr.

Seven and a Half million quid for a knackered plane that will never fly again, somebody has too much money, I expected it to go for 20 grand or so to museum or consortiom of enthusiasts. How will they move it if its as rusty as it looks ?

Madness!

I don't know much about these things but I guess it's not air worthy then.
