where did you go in Cyprus BOB'5?

I have just come back from paphos and the weather was lovely, food was good, drinks are a bit pricey, car with air con for about £14 a day.

I would'nt go again, I've never been to the same place twice though, too many tacky holiday resorts to visit before I curl my toes up

umm...

in case you are not joking here is a web site to check out http://www.rhyl.com/

don't think you could count on the weather now

To guarantee good weather you should really go somewhere in the southern hemisphere. or as close to the equator as possible. Its almost the Ski season in France and Italy!!

Hope you have a good time wherever you choose

R4CH: whereabout in Gran Canaria did you go? Certainly a possibility.

Wakeboarder: Think Thailand may be a little out of budget (not really into backing with Flight only ), but wil look into some late deals on packages

106 rallye: wasnt joking mate. Will look into it

Keep the suggestions coming

Have booked (just today) a holiday to Gran Canaria - Maspolas (or something like).

500pounds for 2 people in a 4 bed bungalow

One wthing I have learnt is, leaving it to the last minute is not good. Week in advance at least.

Thanks people...will let you know how I get on.

Bob

PS: Its 21degC+ at the moment

really nice place the canaries, just make sure you have a jumper etc for the evenings as they can get a little chilly and windy.

Am back. Holiday was really nice. Weather was lovely....lowest temp 19c (at night) and highest was 28/29c (daytime).

Stayed in Maspolamas which was nice and quite. Lovely Sand dunes and beaches. Playa del ingles a short walk away. Ingles was full of tourists and hustlers. Yumbo centre provided good evening entertainment. Anfi Del Maar was a lovely man made beach, with imported white carribean sand.

Went on a boat trip on a glass bottom cata which was a waste of time

Also went on a Jeep Safari to the montains which was nice.

Jetski @60/70kmph over waves was fun

Overall an excellent holiday.....just wish I didnt have to come back
