Default Disrespect for the Law

I know in the UK High Court Judges make some really stupid calls -Most of them being Old Etonians apparently-says it all.
Well how about this in Oz.
The high court has just permitted a $200,000 deduction by a convicted drug dealer against income earned in his dealings as a drug dealer!

So as the law stands a hit man can effectively claim all costs associated with committing a murder ie bullets ,firearms, travel costs etc.
The government are trying to close this loop hole ASAP , but it remains perfectly legal to permit deductions against income in the course of ones work -no matter what the occupation.

Well at least it means they are paying taxes on their income which may be spent on employing the one extra copper that catches them, the world can be a little ironic at times
