treating the wife...
Mrs Peanuts will be coming back from Africa on Sunday night.
she has been climbing mt. Kili for 10 days an as such Im sure she will need pampering.
I was going to put together a small box of treats etc for her to have a relaxing evening.
contents so far:
Bottle of JD
bottle of coke
1 lemon
bath bomb
thornton's continetal selection pack.
any quality ideas that will aid a restfull evening relaxing?

please remember it is my one true love and although I leave myself wide open to abuse on a public bbs, a certain amount of good taste would be appreciated.

hhmmm trying to think of a few ideas for you
A really nice new moisturiser... go to Boots and have a look at their The Sanctuary range.
They do nice little pots that are not too big if you are not sure what she would fancy and it wont break the bank because they are not too expensive.
But if you want to push the boat out go to the cosmetics counter and ask them what new or popular at the moment they will help you.
If she has a favourite perfume maybe you could buy a moisturiser / bath set to match?
Ok what about....
A scented candle for when she's having her bath
A nice new fluffy towel or a nice dressing gown not a sexy one! One that she will actually cosy up in after her bath!!!
I bet her feet will be sore... how bout some cute cosy socks!
You can get nice warm cosy toes ones.
And some nice foot pampering stuff.
A CD to listen to in the bath... buy a relaxing compilation one if you think she'd like it or make your own.
Or a soppy romantic girly flim
to watch after she's had her lovley bath.
What about one of those massage things that you rub on someones back or feet. You can get them in boots. I've even seen them in tesco shaped like an octopus!!
And massage oil... I'm sure you will both enjoy that

Make sure you've got a good bottle of whine chilled in the fridge for when she arrives home. Make sure the house is clean and tidy with a few plug-ins / pot-pourri strategically placed around the house so it smells nice too.
One thing that worked a treat for me when I last picked my missus up from the airport was a thwacking great bunch of flowers and a great big sign with her name on it for a bit of a laugh. Although slightly embarrased by the sign with her name on it she absolutley loved it.
If your the cooking type plan a really nice meal to cook for her whilst she's sorting her stuff out / having her bath when she gets in.

definately agree with some of the stuff boots do for her feet and a tnew bathrobe. what about some jewelry? nothing mega but maybe a nice bracelet or necklace? have you thought about cooking her a meal ... second thoughts she left you instructions on how to cook fray bentos .... Since its Sunday evening, you could time it just right - she steps into the pre-bombed warm bath, sipping the JD+C, munching the chocs, listening to her favourite album etc. You can pop downstairs and get at least the first half of the Spanish footy in on Sky sports.
