Question Work Alarm Call Out ?

How much do you get paid?

Do you get more for evenings / weekends / after midnight?

Thanks in advance

£20 per night weekdays, £30 per night weekends, for standby. Plus normal overtime rate for when i'm actually called out.

It's rubbish, but there's **** all we can do about it. I've heard other companies pay much better.

Sore subject with me.

I dont get a penny !

And ive been out at all hours, and its always a false alarm. Cos our lazy fat cleaners never get rid of the spiders webs around the place.

I now wont attend .......

Hmm, it now occurs to me that I never got anything for being called out. Thankfully, moved offices so I'm no longer the nearest.

Got dragged out the pub once too

We worked it out between ourselves as there was no official policy. At present it's a full day off and all taxi fares. The driver waiting is better than the police who either dont turn up or **** off as soon as you arrive.

£31.50 weekdays, £42 weekends for being on-call. Actual callout is usually flexitime credit for weekdays, double-time (including travel) for weekends.

Weekdays and normal weekends - £250
Bank/Public holidays £500 & a day off

Mileage at 25p per mile

OT at £27.70 per hour from the second I'm called to the second I walk in the front door after sorting it

It doesn't compensate me for the lip I get from the wife when my pager goes off at 3am though!
